A Dō: Irish Music and Dance w/ Evan Kinney
Cool down with Celtic music at the beautiful Callanwolde Fine Arts Center!
"A Dō" is Irish for two.
Katie Baughman and John Maschinot have been entertaining audiences for years with great traditional Irish music and dance featuring authentic instruments: uilleann pipes, fiddle, wooden flute, tin whistle, bodhran, harmonium, vocals and of course feet! They've recently teamed up as A Dó, and couldn't think of a more appropriate venue for their music than the historic Callanwolde mansion. Joining them will be guitarist/singer Evan Kinney.
Evan Kinney grew up in a richly musical family. His father, mother and uncle are all highly regarded performing musicians. His tasteful musical sensibilities toward traditional music have put him in demand as accompanist and multi-instrumentalist. Some of the groups that he's performed with include: The Gypsy Hicks, Jambiance, The Hipbillies, and The Capetians
