Starbucks in Focus
Join Net Impact Seattle for an evening of coffee and reflection on CSR reporting with Starbucks Coffee Company Global Responsibility leader, Ben Packard.
Ben will be speaking on the history of global responsibility reporting at Starbucks. The evening will also include a breakout session on trends in CSR, and how a company's CSR strategy can inform reporting. Guests will have an opportunity to request their top choices for breakout session focus including Environmental Sustainability, Ethical Sourcing, and Community/Social Initiatives.
Be sure to check out Starbucks' recently released FY10 Global Responsibility Report prior to the event and come prepared for a lively discussion. Please go to the following URL to view the report: http://www.starbucks.com/responsibility/learn-more/goals-and-progress
After the event the Net Impact Board members will be hosting an informal networking hour at a nearby location.
This event is only open to paid Net Impact Members and limited to 40 attendees. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Parking and location details will be provided to ticket holders.
Food and Beverage will be provided.
Note from the Net Impact Seattle board: The Starbucks Global Responsibility team is excited to engage with Net Impact members on the topic of reporting and hear your ideas and feedback. Unfortunately, this group does not have any job openings and the team will not be able to accept resumes or requests for informational interviews. Help Net Impact Seattle make this evening a success by respecting this guideline and the Starbucks Global Responsibility team.
