Rock-A-Wish - 2nd Annual Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado Benefit Concert
Come to Rock-A-Wish to hear The Patti Fiasco and special guests, while helping make wishes come true. Tickets are $20 in advance / $25 day of the show. $17 from each ticket is tax deductible.
Opening our event with sweet vocals, passionate lyrics and fresh instrumental voicing's is a singer/songwriter originally from the Black Hills, Stacie Marie. Her writing interweaves folk tones with rock edge by expressing rich acoustic guitar sounds with keys, solid beats and mandolin. She has performed at Colorado local hot spots, such as The Walnut Room, playing a variety of full bands sets, to duets, to solo looping.
Our second act, Selasee's, born and raised in Ghana West Africa, his pursuit of music eventually led him to Boulder, where he currently lives. Selasee's music is a unique blend of Reggae, West African Highlife and American Pop music. Bright with color, his music threads together English and West African lyrics for a captivating sound.
Our headliner, SCENE Magazine's 2010 Battle of the Bands Winner, The Patti Fiasco, will take the stage with some countrified indie rock. If the Avett Brothers had a wild little sister fronting the band, they'd be a lot like the Patti Fiasco. They will rock the stage with strong female vocals, groove-driving guitar, a rhythm section as tasteful as tactful, and the edgy wail of an electric dobro.
