Steven Widerman is Artistic Director of The Puppet Company, a not-for-profit performing company that produces puppet theater for children and their families. With the assistance of artists, woodcarvers, painters and costumers, he has designed and built a remarkable variety of more than 400 puppets. He studied his craft with Master Puppeteer Bil Baird. In 1977 he founded The Puppet Company. He has worked on numerous commercials and films. The Puppet Company is co-producing Puppets on the Sound with the Huntington Arts Council and Cinema Arts Centre.
