BACH presents Handel's Solomon
Smith Recital Hall Urbana, IL
Baroque Artists of Champaign-Urbana (BACH) present Handel's Solomon. March brings the grandeur and intimacy of Solomon, the most sensuous of George Frideric Handel's biblical oratorios. Handel's glorious song of praise celebrates the wisdom and mighty reign of King Solomon with exhilarating choruses, the popular "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba" march, and brilliant arias. This performance features countertenor Jay Carter in the title role, along with sopranos Sherezade Panthaki and Desiree Hassler, the BACH chorus, and expanded orchestral forces.
Note: Senior tickets are available for anyone age 62 and above. 2 for 1 student tickets are available for students of any age. Please have ID with you.
