Voices of Musica Sacra concludes its season-long survey of American choral music by featuring some of the most beautiful and peaceful works by 20th and 21st century composers. Starting with the original maverick composer Charles Ives, the program moves from Randall Thompson, and his famous and oft-sung Alleluia, to works by current popular superstars, Eric Whitacre and Morten Lauridsen, along with other restful selections by Ned Rorem, Rene Clausen, Frank Ticheli, Daniel Gawthrop, Alan Hovhaness, and Moses Hogan.
