CYS Symphony Orchestra May 15Concert
This May, the award-winning California Youth Symphony, under the direction of Maestro Leo Eylar, will present Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and Dukas' Sorcerer's Apprentice. These engaging, timeless pieces are part of their upcoming concert program May 8 and May 15. Also included in the program are Kodály's Háry János Suite, and performances by the winners of the California Youth Symphony Senior Concerto Competition.
The final California Youth Symphony season concerts will be performed Sunday, May 8, 2011 at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center (2:30pm) and Sunday, May 15 at Cupertino's Flint Center (2:30pm).
