Kobe Van Cauwenberghe & Matthias Koole - Belgian Guitar Duo
This much acclaimed Belgian guitar duo will bring you a powerhouse program of some of the very best pieces from the 20th and 21st centuries written for two guitars. The program includes Helmut Lachenmann's Salut für Caudwell, Brian Ferneyhough's no time (at all), Helmut Oehring's Nr. 1 (aus KOMA) and Vinko Globokar's Dialog über Wasser. Long-time collaborators Kobe and Matthias have worked with Brian Ferneyhough and Vinko Globokar personally and were subsequently both awarded prizes at the Darmstadt International Summer Courses. This concert will be a unique event in NYC and not to be missed!
