NYTE writes that spurn has a âhard-edged, envelope-pushing, vaguely absurdist sensibility.â The Village Voice says spurn ââ¦leaves its audience gasping for breath between guffaws as its relentlessly funny skits whip pastâ, while TimeOut NY proclaims spurn to be âDisgusting, horrifying, amusing.â
