Presenter: Theodore R. Burnes, Ph.D.
The purpose of this one-day training is to provide background knowledge and context for competency-based, multicultural clinical supervision and to showcase evidence-based approaches to conduct multiculturally competent supervision. The intent is to begin to provide the empirical data necessary to assist the supervisor in supporting trainees' development while also maintaining ethical consumer care. Specifically, the focus of this training is to address competencies in clinical supervision using the Competency Benchmarks across the professional lifespan of the mental health trainee and beyond.
