Re-Make Burial - "Archangel" Ableton Workshop

In this workshop we will learn how Burial created the single "Archangel" from his 2007 Mercury Award nominated sophomore album Untrue.

Archangel is a 2-step garage track known for its distinct use of time stretched and pitch-shifted vocal samples and it's dark, dusty, skittering beat.

We will re-create the track step by step and show Burial's arrangement of the track, use of sampling, and most importantly, his distinctive drum programming.

This workshop will be helpful for anyone using Ableton to learn ways of arranging and structuring a track from a few simple components while also learning more interesting and complex ways of using Ableton's warping and sampling capabilities.
