Nepal Fundraiser at Union Pool
Devastated by the earthquake in Nepal, a group of New York City locals have banded together to help those affected. Each organizer holds Nepal close their heart, with connections deeply rooted within their own families. Profits raised will go towards Kids of Kathmandu, an organization founded in Brooklyn.
With a special performance by A$AP ROCKY, Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem, CULTFEVER and more, we hope to bring the resources needed to this wonderful organization and helping those who are truly suffering.
Kids of Kathmandu's first relief efforts centered on sending funds with an American medical team in Nepal to deliver Medicines, food, water and tents in Kathmandu.
They are now working with several trusted partners in delivering emergency relief supplies to some of the hardest hit districts in Nepal,Nuwakot, Sindhupalchok, Kavre and Ramechhap during the days following the earthquake and continuing now.
Donations are currently providing immediate aid with plans for
addressing longer term projects such as water purification and the rebuilding of schools and orphanages as the emergency crisis status wanes.
