FLORA Y FALDA
AS220 and the Puerto Rican Institute for Arts and Advocacy (PRIAA) present FLORA Y FALDA: a live installation of video and dance, a celebration of Afrocaribbean dance and music!
Dancer/Educator Lydia Perez and multi-genre artist Shey Rivera present a special collaboration of AfroCaribbean dance and video. Followed by a musical walkthrough of the roots of AfroCaribbean rhythms led by Lydia Perez, and a musical performance by the internationally renowned musical ensemble YORUBA 2.
