4/15 The Laugh Tour w/Comedy Central's DAN NATURMAN + special guest RICH KIAMCO
Art House Productions Presents:
"The Laugh Tour with Comedy Central's Dan Naturman + special guest Rich Kiamco"
Adam Sank -Last Comic Standing
Jeffrey Johns, Missy Baker, Evan Morgenstern, Sam Pepper, Alison Forns
An evening of laughter with comedians from The Tonight Show, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, The Howard Stern Show and more!
Dan began performing stand-up comedy while a student at Fordham University School of Law. After graduating, he decided to turn his back on the law, and devote himself to comedy full time. His legal education did not go totally to waste however, as his New York State Bar Association membership gets him discounts on rental cars.
Dan's charming, self-deprecating, sharp-tongued style has since made him a hit with comedy club audiences across the country. His joke telling and impeccable ability to work a crowd has a throwback quality of its own. With his quick-witted set-ups, Naturman speeds right into the hard-hitting punch lines he's know for- if ever there were a Groucho Marx of this century, Naturman would be the closest thing. Recorded at Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, Dan's CD, "Get Off My Property" was widely praised for its ability to twist usually humorless topics into amusing ideas that anyone can recognize. Punchline Magazine has called Dan's act a success because of its UNIVERSAL APPEAL.
He was the favorite of celebrity judges Drew Carey and Brett Butler on Last Comic Standing Season 2 and has made several appearances on Late Show with David Letterman and Late Nite with Conan O'Brien. He is a regular at both The Comedy Cellar and Comix in New York. On a personal note, Dan has an intense fear of intimacy and has managed to avoid closeness with another human being his entire life. He lives alone on New York's Upper East Side.
Rich is a force of nature that rips across the stage leaving laughter, tears and applause in his wake. His comedy career began with a sewing machine while attending the Fashion Institute Of Technology. He began performing stand-up at campus events and then became the costume designer for comedian Judy Tenuta. He then started performing with Judy as her "love slave" backup dancer, appearing in venues across the country, in Las Vegas and on The Howard Stern Show and a he's never left the stage since. His one man show, Unaccessorized, received the Overall Excellence Award at the NY International Fringe Festival and Best Solo Show at the Montreal GLBT International Theatre Festival. Rich has performed on campuses and venues across the USA, Canada, China and the Philippines. He is a frequent guest on Sirius XM Satellite Radio's OutQ: The Focus Group, was featured on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and co-hosted the WE channel's 3 Men And A Chick Flick. Rich is also co-founder of www.MakeLaughterCount.com an organization that brings comedians + entertainers together to increase awareness about bullying + raising funds for charities.
Adam is one of the most recognized openly gay stand-up comics in the country, having been featured on Season Six of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," in which he advanced to the New York showcase. On the East Coast, Adam has performed at all the major New York comedy clubs and has headlined in Fire Island, NY (The Ice Palace at Cherry Grove) the Poconos, PA (Rainbow Mountain Resort and GNI Retreat), Cape May, NJ (Cabanas on the Beach and Martini Beach) and Rehoboth Beach, DE (The Blue Moon). From 2006 to 2007, he hosted "Adam Sank's Gay Bash," a monthly showcase, at Carolines on Broadway and later Comix comedy club. And for three years, Adam was the host and producer of the wildly successful "Electro Shock Therapy Comedy Hour" at New York's Therapy lounge. Jeffrey H. Johns is a fast talking, frenetic comedian, a true improv performer. You may have seen Jeffrey opening for Lisa Lampanelli at Caroline's on Broadway or at many of the other clubs in New York City. He recently appeared on Last Comic Standing, As the World Turns, Celebrity Ghost Stories and his first feature film, "An Affirmative Act," opens at select theaters on April 1. Jeffrey's second film, "The Great Fight," with Robert Loggia debuts this spring at the Hoboken Film Festival.
Jeffrey was honored to work with Joey Reynolds on WOR 710 HD as part of the 'cabergay' hour, one of Mr. Reynolds highest rated hours. Jeffrey is also the host of the wildly popular show, "Paper Dolls Burlesque." Paper Dolls just performed at the famed Chelsea Hotel and is under consideration for a reality show about the 'bumps and grinds,' in the lives of young talented performers in the hip NYC neo- burlesque-revival scene. Sit back and have another highball honey and watch a true original!
Born and raised in Manhattan, Sam Pepper is a New York based comedian and writer. He performs at clubs all over the city and produces the "Unknown Comedy Hour," a monthly Saturday show at the Duplex in the West Village.
Evan is a stand-up comedian and has performed at Caroline's, Gotham Comedy Club, Comix, and other spots around NYC. He is also the producer for Switzerland Neutral Comedy and hosts a free show at The Creek every month.
Evan has spent a year and a half working at an "adult bookstore" in Orlando, Florida. That, along with his pot-smoking dad and obsessive-compulsive disorder, has provided some excellent comedy fodder.
Evan resides in Park Slope, Brooklyn with his wife Amy and cat, Stella.
