A Concert Performance: Love's Sorrow, Love's Joy, The life and music of Fritz Kreisler
Violinist Darin Qualls, winner of the Starling Foundation Prize for "Excellence in Performance" and highly acclaimed concert pianist Janet Craswell in a concert featuring the music of the ever popular Fritz Kreisler. A narration giving a unique insight into Kreisler's life and music will be given throughout by the distinguished radio commentator Edmund Stone, known for his nationally syndicated program devoted to film music, The Score. This concert is a benefit for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and is being given to honor the memory of the talented and much loved Portland violinist, Lorely Zgonc.
