Let's Fly - An Evening with Rhythm of the Rockies
Let's Fly! An Evening with Rhythm of the Rockies Chorus is an opportunity to hear this acclaimed group as they prepare for an International Competition in Las Vegas in October 2015. The audience will get a sneak peak at the musical packages that will be performed in Las Vegas as well as be entertained through the group's high energy regular repertoire. Several quartets from within this chorus will also take the stage. Appetizers and punch will be served during intermission and a silent auction will be offered to help raise funds for the Las Vegas Trip.

Rhythm Of The Rockies Chorus
Ordinary Voices Making Extraordinary Music
Rhythm of the Rockies is a championship chorus based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is a chorus of energetic, enthusiastic women, who sing 4-part a cappella harmony. These women come from all walks of life and professions and take their music, and ensuing fun, seriously. In November of 2013 the Chorus competed in the AA Harmony Classic International Competition in Honolulu, Hawaii, winning and achieving the highest score ever awarded in the history of the Harmony Classic competition.
Members, whether musically trained or not, share a passion for singing. They are "ordinary voices making extraordinary music" taking a fresh and exciting approach to the a cappella singing of jazz, swing, modern classics, ballads and peppy uptunes. As the 2014 international mid-sized chorus champions, they have set high goals and achieved them. They have grown to over 60 members and always welcome new faces on the risers.
Rhythm of the Rockies loves to perform! They produce their own shows and sing in public venues for a variety of clients. They also participate in regional and international competitions. Their Region consists of BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, one of many Regions of the international sisterhood of over 27,000 a cappella singers called "Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance". The opportunities for friendship and camaraderie, travel and personal growth are limitless. They offer top quality, eclectic, a cappella entertainment.
