Urban Homesteading 101: Canning Skills and Marmalade

You've asked for more skill-building classes, and we are responding! Together with Nicole Kramer of FARMCurious, 18 Reasons is offering Urban Homesteading 101, a series of classes dedicated to the art of culinary self-sufficiency. It is citrus season, so we are starting by using marmalade to build our canning skills. This class will teach you general canning skills applicable to many canning adventures (pickles, jams, preserves) and specific tricks for making delicious marmalade. We will supply jars for this batch and you'll get to take home a delicious sample. Nicole will have her canning starter kits and additional jars available for purchase so you can practice at home.
