Bill Schechner Presents at the JCC: The Bay Area Blues All-Stars
The All-Stars play the songs that were popular when Oakland's Seventh Street was a lively center of Bay Area nightlife. They'll also recall the characters (including a legendary Jewish music store owner who helped many artists get instruments in hard times), the integrated clubs, and the restaurants that made West Oakland buzz. Honor Black History Month, and bring your dancing shoes!
