Description
ART TAKES FLIGHT
An Artist Trust Celebration in Mighty Tieton
Saturday June 16, 2007
On Saturday, June 16th, at the Mighty Tieton - a new artistic community centered in the Yakima Valley - Art Takes Flight will include;

• a silent auction of original artist work on specially-made kites by 30 artists
• Festive dinner and hosted beverages
• a special performance by MacArthur “Genius” Trimpin
• a sneak preview tour of the new artist community in Tieton, Washington
• a day of events including an Artist's Survival Skill Workshop, kite flying and more!

Tieton: Art Takes Flight is a unique collaboration between Artist Trust, Drachen Foundation and the Mighty Tieton to support the artists of Eastern and Central Washington and all Washington State with a not-to-be-missed summer event.

Highlights include 30 custom-made kites designed by noted Washington artists such as Julie Speidel, Harold Balazs, Fay Jones, Ronald Tan and Jim Woodring, to name but a few, as well as an aural sculpture by Trimpin.  Join us for what will be an unforgettable event in Eastern Washington!
