Queer Sex: Thinking Outside the Box w/ Ashley Manta
In a world of cisnormativity and heteronormativity, queer sex often gets overlooked. Join sex educator Ashley Manta for a queer-focused workshop that covers fisting, strap-on sex, safer sex tips for various bodies and genders, and using inclusive language to talk about our favorite feel-good bits. All genders and sexualities are welcome!
Bio: Feminist sexuality educator, writer, and published author Ashley Manta is the founder of renowned online destination "Sex Ed: Speaking the Unspeakable" (ashleymanta.com), whose mission is to empower individuals and foster personal, relational and sexual growth. Through one on one coaching and workshops, Ashley helps those in need to find their path to empowered living and make progress in their personal journey.
She is also the author of 2014 e-book "A Feminist's Guide to Phone Sex," In addition, her non-fiction essay "Growing Through the Yuck of Having Herpes" was included in the "Best Sex Writing of the Year" anthology, published March 2015.
Ashley speaks candidly about being a survivor of sexual assault and living with herpes and has done extensive work encouraging others to break the silence and share their stories. She is co-host of sex and relationship podcast Carnalcopia.
