Sometimes overcoming life's obstacles begins by serving God with a lawsuit. Former hotshot lawyer, David Frank (Cusick), is determined that someone must pay, after his house is destroyed by a tornado. His insurance company deems it an "act of God" and refuses to pay. With no other choice, he decides to sue God. His clever legal antics turn the courtroom into a spectacle as he cross-examines representatives of the world's religions. But sparks fly when he meets God's charming and intelligent Jewish defense lawyer, Rachel (Carradine). This comedy raises questions about faith and religion with a light-hearted tone and an open mind.
