The Lincoln Lodge has created The Stand-Up Seminary a beginners foundation course that strives to give prospective performers the confidence and skills they need to begin a career in standup comedy.

The course is founded on the comedy principles of the critically acclaimed Lincoln Lodge, a national leader in
cultivating and developing new comedy talent.

The five weekly 2 hour sessions of this course will focus on:
Joke structure
Development of material
Finding an attitude and persona
Connecting with an audience
Creating a cohesive set.

Class Schedule is as follows -
Tuesday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 1st at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 8th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 15th at 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m.

(NOTE: Minimum class size is five students. If class needs to be re-scheduled due to lack of membership a full refund will be issued on February 22nd.)

Note: Classes will be held at Sheil Park in Lakeview at 3505 N Southport Ave.
