Crawfish Boil of Great Raft Brewing and Slow Food North Louisiana
For its 4th annual crawfish boil, Slow Food North Louisiana is partnering with local Great Raft Brewing to pass a good time and eat all the mudbugs we can handle on Saturday, May 9 from 4-7 pm.
The boil will take place in the parking lot of Great Raft Brewing, where the food trucks usually park. The main course will be boiled by our friends at Crawfish Tyme. Servings are all you can eat, and ticket holders will receive a wrist band.
Children may attend but they may not enter the building (we will have "facilities" outside). If your children eat crawfish like adults, buy a ticket for them. If they are coming along for the ride, there is no charge.
The full lineup of Great Raft beer will be available for purchase, as will other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at a cash bar outside. You must be 21 to consume alcohol.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Justin Wayne and the Good Ole Dirty Boys.
Additional parking will be available under the I-49 overpass at Southern Ave and Dalzell St (we'll have signs).
Tickets are $25 general admission and $20 for Slow Food members (current members will receive a discount password at the email address we have on file. Questions about membership should be addressed to slowfoodnla@gmail.com).
