Wizard of Oz
Based on the original 1939 movie musical, Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of a place where she won't get into trouble, "Over the Rainbow".  She and her dog Toto escape Kansas when she is knocked out during a twister and her house is transported to Munchkinland in Oz.  The Munchkin hail Dorothy as a hero because her house landed on the evil Wicked Witch of the East.  But Glinda, the good Witch of the North, explains to Dorothy, that the ruby slippers (now on her feet) once belonged to the deceased Witch of the East and have great power, and Dorothy wears them to protect her from the enemy she has made, the wicked Witch of the West.  Dorothy sets out on an adventure to get back to Kansas with the help of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz in Emerald City. Along the way she makes three friends who also need help from the wizard:  the Scarecrow, who needs a brain; the Tin Man, who needs a heart and the Cowardly Lion who needs courage.  The Wizard says he will grant their requests if they kill the Witch of the West, and they go to her castle and accomplish that task.  The Wizard reveals that he is really a humbug and cannot grant their requests, but he gives each of them a token of their request, including an offer to take Dorothy back to Kansas in his hot air balloon, but takes off without her aboard.  Glinda appears and explains to Dorothy that she has always had the power to go home again with the ruby slippers.  Dorothy clicks her heels three times and repeats "There's no place like home," and the next thing you know she wakes up from her fantasy back in her own back yard in Kansas.
