NYC Pizza Safari: Learning to Love Your Vegan
My name is Scott and I have been conducting tours of NYC's culturally significant pizzerias for nearly three years (www.ScottsPizzaTours.com). My vegan brother Jonathan is visiting from Los Angeles and I want to share some pizza with him, but I've had trouble opening my mind to the concept of non-traditional pizza. In preparation for Jon's visit, I've been trying vegan pizza all over town. Some of it has been less than exciting and some has really blown me away.
I made it my goal to find pizza that was delicious first and vegan second.
Jon and I invite all pizza-obsessed vegans to sign up with their non-vegan friends for a food tour that promotes harmony among the hungry. Whether you're from NYC or just visiting, this event is sure to fill both your mind and your tummy without any animal products.

What's a pizza safari?
We all know that New York City is famous for pizza, but there's more out there than just the average cheesy grease bombs. Due to the increase in alternative eating habits, many pizza lovers must break through the traditions and paradigms of the standard New York slice in search of what lies beyond. A pizza safari sets out to do just that.
Scott's Pizza Tours have been featured on Travel Channel, Cooking Channel, Discovery Science and NBC's Today in New York. It is currently the #1 tour in NYC on Yelp! and TOP TEN on TripAdvisor.
