Moving Dialogues

You are invited to our inaugural Moving Dialogues: Community Workshops with Contradiction Dance. These workshops will be led by Artistic Director Kelly King, assisted by Director of Theatre, Melissa-Leigh Bustamante and will include Company Members of Contradiction Dance.

Participants will physicalize their individual stories, generating a personal dance. The workshops themselves will provide necessary research material that will inform Contradiction Dance's Code Switch, premiering in the 2015-2016 season.

In Moving Dialogues: Community Workshops, you will be an active participant in creating language and movement that will inform our creative process and product. You do not have to have dance training to be a part of it. In fact, we encourage people from all walks of life to join us in this exploration.

Your voice is integral to an on-going, community dialogue that we want to begin and so, we hope you will join us in what promises to be a dynamic and creatively inspiring event!

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
