Fall Foliage Tour
INDYCOG Fall Foliage Tour…with a special guest.
Attn: INDYCOG members
We would like to extend a special invitation to our loyal members to come along with INDYCOG on the Fall Foliage Tour. Not that we ever need a reason to get on our bikes, but our friends at the Office of Sustainability contacted INDYCOG and asked us to help Mayor Ballard celebrate his birthday with a bike ride. They figured if anyone could assemble a group of fellow riders it was INDYCOG. This is not going to be a highly publicized ride like The Mayor's Bike Ride due to the logistics that go into such an event. Obviously, we jumped at the opportunity to ride with one of Indianapolis' most bike friendly mayors and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to reach out to our members.
The only thing we ask is that you RSVP so we can have an idea of how may people will be attending.
Details:
When: Saturday, November 20th @ 8:45a.m. (Ride leaves @ 9 a.m.)
Where: The City Market (downtown) and hopefully ship out around 9.
What: This ride will be ~ 24 miles and will utilize the Pleasant Run greenway, striped bike lanes, the Monon and the future route of the Capitol Ave. bike lanes.
Afterwards: The ride will end at the City Market and anyone interested we will get a sneak peek, and taste, of the Tomlinson Taproom that will be opening on the 24th of November.
