MAGIC COMEDY SHOW & MOROCCAN CUISINE FOR ONE SPECIAL NIGHT
Morocco's Restaurant's will resonate with magic the moment you walk in. Enjoy close-up sleight of hand magic at your table during dinner. Then after dinner, sit back, relax and be amazed and amused by the Bay Area's Award-winning Magicians, Phil Ackerly and special guest, comedian Jeff Applebaum.
Phil Ackerly; Voted Bay Area's Best Entertainer 5-times and performs 350 shows a year at corporate events and private parities, Monday Night Magic in NYC and the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He created these dinner theater shows to feature his new act for an adult audience. He performs table side before dinner and on stage for all to create a special night out for adults and families.
Jeff Applebaum; After 20+ years in California, this New York City native is finally learning to understand the local language. Jeff's comedy examines his particular life experiences, which include being the only white kid on his Little League team in Queens, moving to Long Island for high school, having a Chinese wife and raising children who calls themselves "Jewnese," because he says it sounds better than "Chine-ish." Jeff made his national U.S. TV debut on CBS as a comedian on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." He has also appeared on Comics Unleashed and Comedy.TV, Byron Allen's nationally syndicated Entertainment Studio programs, ABC-TV, and opened for and performed with comic legends Robert Klein, Richard Lewis, Robin Williams, Kevin Pollak, Jake Johannsen, and more. He's also a frequent guest on KGO Radio, AM810. Prior to comedy, Jeff worked as an engineer, using his two degrees from MIT. General Admission Show Tickets are $20 per adult with 2-drink or food purchase minimum. $20 for Military and children. This show is PG-13 and is not suitable for young kids. (They just won't enjoy the comedy) Doors open at 5:30pm. Dinner at 6pm. Showtime is 7:30pm and will run about 75 minutes.
