QUESTIONS AND UNFINISHED SENTENCES
presented by Mari Mease Dance Collective
questions and unfinished sentences is a multi-media exploration of peoples life questions, and the implied answers in unfinished sentences. Based on videos collected of peoples Life Questions, the piece explores living with ambiguity through movement, text, costume, and music. The piece aims to encourage people to accept ambiguity, and continue questioning. Six dancers explore these themes through physical manifestation of assigned questions in solos, and duets, and group work.

PASSING MOMENT, INTIMATE STRANGERS
Choreographed by Christina Noel Reaves

I have been hard at work continuing to explore the expressive process of performance through the body and the voice; bridging the gaps that I experience between the two, and enjoying the play of testing their limitations.

BOXED IN
choreographed by Chelsea Bonosky and Zoe Blake
Using our art as a catalyst for change (within ourselves and our surroundings) we began by exploring three levels of being "boxed in": physically, spatially, and conceptually. Through a series of movement "vignettes", we work both together and separately in navigating and exploring our way throughout each of these three levels. As our exploration unfolds, a map of our pathways and the spacial boxes that define them begin to form. Throughout the piece, these spacial boxes or 'classifications' grow and layer on top of one another as we begin to push our limits within them. Giving and taking what we please, we are constantly redefining our boundaries and what it means to be self-identified.
