MALBEC WORLD DAY
New York will rock to a new edition of Malbec World Day joining the celebrations held in over 50 countries worldwide! Featuring a fabulous line-up and Argentina's most delicious wines, participants will experience a one-of-a-kind event they will not forget.
Sample over 120 new Malbec wines as you swirl your way through their different styles, listen to great music, learn a thing or two about Argentina's most emblematic varietal from wine pros, step into cool photo booths, "Like" your favorite wines on our Wine Like mobile app and watch it all blow up on social media.
WINE Under the Wine Revolution format, the participants are the stars of the night. Wines are grouped by styles to make tasting them in the correct order easy and pleasant. In this special edition of 2015 Malbec World Day, participants will be able to sample over 120 Malbec wines from 26 of the top Argentine wineries.
WINE MOBILE APP & TOP TEN IN REAL TIME Participants will explore new wines and click "Like" on the ones they love. Gel social!
WINE TALKS During our 20 minute wine talks, participants can learn new aspects of Malbec. These are conducted by wine experts who will guide the talks in a casual, non-intimidating way.
DJS AND LIVE ARTISTS Seductive music sessions by guest artists will be the perfect pairing to the participants' wine tasting.
EAT & DRINK LIKE A PORTEÑO There is no such thing as an Argentine wine event without its most famous food- steak! Participants will get to taste delicious Argentine empanadas (cooked pastries with meat and veggie fillings), Argentine steak sandwiches with chimichurri sauce, and finish the night off with a sweet treat.
PHOTO BOOTH Strike a pose! Participants can step into our photo booth decked out with accessories and amusing signs to take and share photos with their friends.
