The Switzerland Project: Contemporary Swiss Music
The Swiss Project is a larger and modulable program compiling commissions and recent works for either recorder, voice & electronics in any combination for 2 performers by contemporary Swiss composers such as Hans-Ulrich Lehmann, Maria Porten, Beat Gysin, Andreas Zurbriggen and many others. The program intends to introduce different contemporary Swiss composer's works which are complementary to UMS 'n JIP's own works and/or especially inspiring for them. Parts of the program have been performed in several contemporary music Festivals in China, France and Switzerland, and several pieces have been recorded by Swiss Radio RSR Espace 2 in 2007 as well as released on CD by VDE Gallo in 2008.
