Exclusive Wine Tasting and Shopping Night on King Street
WHAT'S BETTER THAN AN EXCLUSIVE WINE TASTING AND SHOPPING ON KING STREET?
Come to King Street for an exclusive, ticketed wine tasting and shopping event in 10 of your favorite downtown stores. You'll pair exquisite shopping with special reserve wines and gourmet hors d'oeuvres for a fabulous spree.
Taste specially selected reserve red and white wines from Italy, Spain and the West Coast. From Italy don't miss tasting the Maremma Toscana Ottava Rima from Tenuta L'Impostino winery. From Spain one of my favorites is the Ribera Del Duero 2007 from Valdrinal winery, a lucious red that's aged for 18 months in French oak casks. It's available in several downtown Charleston restaurants for $90 per bottle.
A wine expert will be at every store to discuss the nuances and notes of each fine wine served. You will taste 30 wines that are not widely available for sale except in fine wine shops and never in a grocery store. Plus, enjoy gourmet hors d'oeuvres prepared by Duvall Catering, The Harbour Club and Savannah Bee Company
A wonderful array of King Street Stores are participating in the event, from Vestique to fashion forward Finicky Filly, Copper Penny, Shooz, House of Sage and Brooks Brothers. Oh yes, lovely jewels from Roberto Coin Boutique. All your shopping needs met in one magical event.
Print your ticket(s) at home and keep your hard copy for the check-in at the event. Your ticket will tell you exactly which store is your 5:00 p.m. check-in store. After enjoying the experience at your check-in store, you are free to visit any or all nine participating stores.
