Monday Night Taiwanese Pop Up at Namu Gaji!
To celebrate the delicious cuisine of Taiwan, the focus of the new cookbook "The Food of Taiwan" by Cathy Erway, we're throwing a Taiwanese Pub Dinner pop up at Namu Gaji on Monday, April 6! Combining traditional Taiwanese favorites and the delightful, communal atmosphere of pub foods, the meal will feature five courses including dessert prepared by the author and served family-style for this intimate gathering. Copies of "The Food of Taiwan" will also be available for purchase, and for signing. Dinner will be prepared by Cathy Erway herself, alongside Chef/Owner of Namu Gaji, Dennis Lee.
Five Course Prix Fixe Menu. Dinner begins at 7pm:
Taiwan Beer-Braised Cockles with Basil and Chilies
San Bei Ji Wings
Popcorn King Oyster Mushrooms
Taiwanese Hamburger (aka gua bao, with pork belly)
Pineapple Cake a la Mode
This event is ticket-entry only, available exclusively on Brown Paper Tickets
Ticket price includes food, service charge and SF Mandates surcharge. Tax will be added at the end of your transaction.
Purchase tickets up to 48 hours before event start time. tickets are non-refundable.

What does the ticket include?
your ticket is inclusive of Cathy Erway's Taiwanese Pub style prix fixe menu, 20% service charge and 4.5% surcharge for SF Mandates. Please arrive within 15 minutes of your ticket time.
Can I purchase additional drinks on the night of the event?
guests can choose from our menu of wine, sake, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages on the night of the event. these beverages are NOT included in the ticket price and can be paid for at the end of the evening.
Why is a service charge added?
since we are not billing our patrons at the time of the dinner we are adding a 20% service charge at the time of purchase.
Can I get a refund once purchased? Can I exchange my ticket for a different night?
no. Just like a sporting event, concert, or theater ticket all sales are final.
What should I do if I am running late?
if you are running late, please call us (415) 431-6268. please also note that if you do not arrive within 15 minutes of your ticket time we may be unable to seat your party together, due to the restraints of the restaurant size.
Do you offer other menu options for allergies or other restrictions?
unfortunately, no. due to the nature of this special pop up, we will not be able to accommodate allergies or other dietary restrictions.
Do you take walk-ins?
no. This event is ticket-entry only.
Is parking available?
if you are driving to namu gaji, please allow yourself extra time, as parking can be tricky at times. there is street parking or paid parking lots near by on Valencia. parking garages nearby:
