$10 - The Tank presents: Loop 2.4.3 in Residence, featuring Dafnis Prieto, John Amira, Erik Friedlander, Tom Burnett, and James Godwin with Loop 2.4.3. Lighting environments by luckydave.
On October 13, Songs, Drums, and Refrains of Death, will feature cellist Erik Friedlander. The title is a nod to the evocative work of George Crumb (whom Loop founder Kozumplik studied with in Prague), a nod to the season, and a description of the material being performed: unique takes on the song by Loop 2.4.3 and Friedlander.
The Tank Space for Visual and Performing Arts presents a monthly installment this fall featuring the work of composers/percussionists Loop 2.4.3, along with their featured guests and collaborators.
The programming of the residency highlights new work by Loop 2.4.3 with collaborations by multi-media artists, along with guest spots that showcase the duo's interests and influences.
