Marat/Sade
Free Association Theatre Ensemble brings you Peter Weiss' exploration of patients and politics!
The patients of the asylum of Charenton come together to produce the play "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat", written and produced by the infamous Marquis deSade. In FATE's interpretation, you will first meet all the patients, and then experience the play - all under the watchful eye of the "establishment".
Directed by Julya M Mirro, and assisted by Leslie A Pless, the cast and crew of this production include: Jim Azarelo, Noelle Barnard, Jeff Bergman, Chris Brown, Erin Brown, Brian Clark, Wyatt Geist, Thom Haynes, John Honeycutt, Jarret Lefler, Jillian Lefler, Nicola Lefler, John Paul Middlesworth, Jessi Nemeth, Irene Rockwell, Oliver Vest, Mick Williams, Cassandra Wladyslava, and Ken Wolpert.
Making use of the retail space in Harrison Pointe Shopping Center, FATE puts the audience in the middle of the production, providing interaction with the patients and live music.
All original music written by local singer/writer Erin Brown.
