After making thousands dance to global beats across the nation, the triple threat Singer, Dancer and DJ Prashant will now spread the joy of music and dance to Seattle on a monthly basis!
The Emerald City is in for a special treat this October as one of the biggest names in the effervescent DJ scene of India; DJ Nawed will inaugurate Prashant's newest Bollywood-World music fusion dance party, Jai Ho! East West Masala.
Masala is a mixture of spices; East West Masala will present an eclectic mix of Bollywood and Bhangra music seamlessly blended with Global beats and sautéed with popular American music!
No previous dance experience necessary as Prashant (NW Dance Project, PCC and PSU World Dance Faculty) will teach a special Dance workshop beginning at 10:00 PM. Come early for fun dance lessons and stay late to show off your new moves at the cutest venue in town, Little Red Studio!

About DJ Nawed:
DJ Nawed is one of the biggest names in the effervescent DJ scene of India. Over the years, Nawed has distinguished himself as a producer of several super hit songs for the Indian music industry and the alternate remix market. Nawed's work has been a part of some of the biggest names in Bollywood: Yash Raj Films, Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films, and Shahrukh Khan's Red Chilies Entertainment.
He's a regular feature in clubs across India and the Middle East. He has performed in Calcutta, Mumbai, Bangalore, Goa, Delhi and Chennai. More recently, he has packed clubs in Dubai, Kenya, South Africa, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Bahrain.
On a recent six-city tour in the USA, Nawed played at Aqua Lounge in Los Angeles, Club Mist in San Francisco, and Illusions in San Jose; all of which were sold out weeks in advance of his arrival.
Beneath DJ Nawed's friendly smile and easy going nature is a wealth of musical knowledge and technical skill. He began playing professionally in 1999, and in a relatively short period of time has amassed a music collection and a reputation which is the envy of many a seasoned veteran. In Nawed's formative years, Mumbai's club scene erupted with house fusion blends. He found himself drawn to that bass line-driven sound of artists like Snap, Stereo MC's, and Stonebridge amongst others. It is no surprise that Nawed is now the name to reckon with for rhythmic House mixes of Bollywood tunes.
DJ Nawed returns to the USA to play alongside the US-based premier triple-threat, Bollywood DJ, singer, and dancer, Prashant.

Bollywood Dreams Entertainment is the dynamic event company that brought renowned Mumbai-based DJ SUKETU to Portland's Roseland Theater in March 2010, for a show that attracted over 800 people. Their second show with legendary DJ Akbar Sami was sold out in both Portland and Seattle!

A bonus feature with BDE events is the enthusiasm and interest Prashant generates through his introductory dance lessons and advanced workshops. Participants quickly warm to his personable style, rich choreographic skills and highly accessible teaching approach to some of the world's most exuberant dance forms.
