Empanda Inaugural Concert
We invite you to join us for Empanda's Inaugural Concert to benefit the "Empanda Micro-Loans" initiative. "Empanda Micro-Loans" uses proceeds from live events to extend small loans to entrepreneurs in impoverished nations, who would otherwise be unable to obtain traditional credit. Audience members actively participate in this program, and are encouraged to visit Empanda's website to vote for prospective loan recipients.
Concert programming will include the world premiere of experimental classical and jazz works from NYC artists Yael Archer, C. E. Whalen, Leaha Maria Villeareal, Hannis Brown and more. The evening will also feature musical-based performance art, including the assembly and execution of a Rube-Goldberg Machine to live music.

As a burgeoning organization, Empanda empowers artists to enrich global and local communities. By offering creative individuals in all stages of career realization, from students/emerging artists to practicing professionals, an opportunity to use their talents for a greater good, Empanda serves both the artistic community and the global community at large. Empanda focuses on raising both monetary funds and awareness to aid under-served populations, while providing educational and entertaining experiences to the general public.
