PALESTINIAN WOMEN'S VOICES: MK Hanin Zoabi & Areej Ja'fari

The Middle East Children's Alliance is proud to present "Palestinian Women's Voices" (and their first time in the bay area!): MK Hanin Zoabi is a Palestinian Member of the Israeli Knesset, Al-Tajammu'Party leader in 1948 Palestine, and a member of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla -- and Areej Ja'fari is a youth/women's leader and refugee activist from Dheisheh refugee camp in the West Bank. They will speak together on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 7pm at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley, 2345 Channing Way @ Dana. This is a benefit for MECA's Maia Project: Clean Water for the Children of Gaza. The event is wheelchair accessible and ASL interpreted. For info, www.mecaforpeace.org or 510-548-0542.
