Love Letters by A.R. Gurney
A.R.Gurney's Pullitzer Prize nominated play Love Letters features two actors reading from notes, letters and cards representing nearly 50 years of correspondence in which they discuss their hopes and ambitions, their dreams and disappointments, victories and defeats. Performing it has become almost a rite of passage for veteran actors of stage and screen alike.
On October 4th, the talented Jill Paice and Michael Sazonov will tackle this theatrical gem in a benefit performance for Creative Cauldron. Paice is fresh off her critically acclaimed starring role as Florence in Signature Theater's production of Chess. On the West End and on Broadway, Paice originated the role of Laura Fairlie in the world premiere of The Woman in White. Sozonov has appeared on numerous D.C area stages including the Kennedy Center, Roundhouse, Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre and Theatre of the First Amendment, and is currently appearing as Whizzer in Falsettos with Ganymede Arts.
