USA-2010-96 min---Director: Esau Melendez----A feature documentary film about the modern immigrant rights movement. In particular, it is the story of the struggle of Elvira Arellano, a single mother from Chicago, who fought her deportation. The film also interweaves the stories of individuals, organizations, activists and community leaders united by passion and a concern for justice. This film illustrates the opposition to the controversial HR4437 immigration bill as well as the ongoing struggle and demand for comprehensive immigration reform.

En particular, es la historia de la lucha de Elvira Arellano, una madre soltera de Chicago, que lucharon a su deportacion. La pelicula tambien se entrelazan las historias de personas, organizaciones, activistas y lideres de la comunidad unida por la pasion y la preocupacion por la justicia. Esta pelicula muestra la oposicion a la controvertida ley de inmigración HR4437, asi como la lucha constante y la demanda de una reforma migratoria integral.
