2012 Trek+Lunch Program

Snowshoe trek:
Departs Saturday 8:30 AM from the Crystal Springs Sno-park. You will need a one day sno-park and Discover permits. You can use your own snowshoes or rent from Meany. We have a limited number of rentals.

3 - 5 miles with 500 ft elevation gain in last mile (approx 2 - 3 hrs) in a guided trek to Meany Lodge. A hearty hot lunch will be served at 12:30 PM.

We will leave the Meany Campus around 2 pm, for the downhill snowshoe trek back to the parking lot, arriving between 4:00 and 5:00 PM.

No previous snow-shoeing experience required, but you should be able to walk at least 5 miles at a medium pace.

Cross-Country Ski Trek:
Departs Saturday 8:30 AM from the Crystal Springs Sno-park. You will need a one day sno-park and Discover permits.

XC trek is similar to Snowshoe trek, please contact Ms Patti Polinsky at sports_director@meanylodge.org for more specific information

Question:	Hello, my friend and I want to do the xc ski trek on 3/10. My friend is an advanced beginner in classic. I am an intermediate in skate. We have an annual sno park and groomed trail permits. Shall we just buy tickets and show up or do we need anything else?
Answer:	Hi, Thank you for your interest but it will have to wait until next season. as I, the leader will not be there that weekend. I will adjust Brown Paper tickets to show just snow shoe trips. I would love to show you all the great trails in the area but it will be next season.
