On Sunday, March 8, Aurora Chorus presents its second annual International Women's Day event. We are thrilled to welcome Portland singer-songwriter Kelly Bosworth as our guest artist. Join us in celebrating the power and strength of women who have faced societal challenges with beauty, grace, and courage--women such as Malala Yousafzai, Ella Baker, and Audre Lorde. Hope-filled favorites by Libby Roderick and Holly Near complement the program. After the performance, please join us in the fellowship hall downstairs for refreshments.
Kelly Bosworth's songs have been described as "haunting, evocative melodies . . . which speak to universal themes of loss, longing and love." She has recently released her first CD, titled simply "Kelly Bosworth." Visit www.kellybosworth.com to learn more.
There will be one concert at 4:00. All tickets are for open (non-reserved) seats. Note that the balcony is accessible only by stairs.
Tickets can be mailed to you at no charge or held in Will Call for pickup. We do not require photo ID at Will Call.
