Flamenco Fusion II - The Silk Road Meets Spain
The passion of flamenco is coupled with the soulful and joyful sounds from countries along the Silk Road. 11 local artists will perform, many with international acclaim. This fusion show features beautiful flamenco dance, music and song from Andalusia, Spain. Music (instrumental and vocal) from China, Persia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Iraq, Armenia and Uzbekistan, as well as Kurdish and Uighar melodies. Instruments include: Flamenco guitar, Oud, Komenche, Tar, Er-hu, Sehtar, Violin, Cajon, Tombak, Daf, Frame drum, keyboard.
