On this night, dr. ISRAEL will be performing exclusive versions of songs from his classic dub and dancehall recordings, along with sound system remix versions of new singles from upcoming releases on Bill Laswell's new M.O.D. technologies imprint. He will be backed by PATCH DUB on effects and science and KATRINA BLACKSTONE on vocals.
TURBO SONIDERO FUTURISTICO is beat-maker/producer Roman Zepeda. Born in San Jose, CA, he mixes the music of his Mexican roots with the music he grew up and was influenced by from the Bay Area. His music blends bass and cumbia, and is influenced by hip hop, dub and electronic music. He has gained much notoriety from international and local producers alike. He also collaborates with San Jose underground MC Mex Tape, does remixes for various artists, and is workings on his next E.P.
