Out by Ten: Humor at the Heart of It: Moth StorySLAM Champions & Musicians Mix it Up
On Feb. 26, 2015, Out by Ten, the monthly performance series featuring NYC's best cutting-edge storytellers and musicians presents Humor at the Heart of It. This month we feature five-time Moth GRAND SLAM-winning storyteller, Steve Zimmer, Moth SLAM Winner Nisse Greenberg, and witty & wild singer/songwriter, Honor Finnegan.

THE TALENT
STORIES
Steve Zimmer
Steve has been telling his achingly funny and sardonic tales of life, love and growing up, or not, for nearly a decade. He has won 20+ Moth Slams, including five  GrandSlams. His awkward charm will win you over too.

Nisse Greenberg
Nisse Greenberg, storyteller, sketch comedian and blogger, is a Moth STorySLAM winner who majored in Mathematics. When he isn't telling stories of his failure to complete his destiny in Math and his even greater failure to live healthily, he performs as one half of the sketch comedy group: Rachel and the Elf.

THE MUSIC
Honor Finnegan
Honor is the Susan Boyle of indie folk, only hotter.  Her humorous and heartbreaking songs blend musical theatre, comedy, traditional folk and poetry. She was a 2013 Kerrville New Folk winner, and a 2012 Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist.

Honor's CD, The Tiny Life, was #9 on the Folk DJ charts for February 2012 and her song, "Stark as Stone" is featured on an Amy Speace album. She has shared the stage with John Gorka, Christine Lavin, Ellis, David Massengill, John Forster, and Buskin and Batteau.

Honor is cooler than the other side of the pillow.
