Choral Saturday: A Summer Workshop
Looking to brush up on your sightreading, language skills, audition preparedness or musicality? Want to meet other singers in the New York area? Looking to find a choral group to sing with?
If you answered yes to any of these, then you won't want to miss the choral workshop hosted by Cappella New York, a prestigious community-professional chorus, with leading New York musicians including Phillip Cheah who conducts the Central City Chorus, Cappella's own Music Director David Enlow and language expert Gerald Richman.
The day includes:
- Sight singing - Language refresher - Audition preparation roundtable - Piece preparation from choral literature, including a performance "just for us" - Score and handouts
There will be light refreshments, and, of course, a lunch break feel free to brownbag or visit any of the great places in the neighborhood.
