The New Los Angeles Folk Festival

HM 157
Los Angeles, CA

The New Los Angeles Folk Festival celebrates the emergence of new L.A. folk in all its shapes and contrasts, presenting history as its being made by voices with a fresh, innovative perspective. It's traditional and experimental, acoustic and electronic, throwbacks and progressive ideas. Let the West Coast seep into your idea of what "folk music" can be.

Proceeds from the festival will go towards the Environmental Defense Fund and help to aid the Gulf cleanup efforts.
