Dakshina Palli, Inc. and Mala's School of Odissi Dance present "GURUTATTVA" ( Element of Guru) second in a series.This program will present the classical dance of South and East India.Mala Desai ( Odissi Dance, east, India) & Jaan R. Freeman ( Bharata Natyam Dance, South India).
Mala and Jaan will present items from their traditional repertoire.The program will feature a new collabrative work "MANGALARIPPU" & the revival of "JATI-PALL" (2008)
fusing the music from Bharata Natyam & Odissi.
