One Night Only! Local Musicians Peter Spencer and Grammy nominated Holly Figueroa O'Reilly join forces for a special evening of acoustic music and conversation about the magic behind song writing.
If you have listened to the radio lately (NPR's All Things Considered, All Songs Considered, and hundreds of radio stations all over the country), or watched television, (FX's show Damages chose Holly's cover of Leonard Cohen's song, "Everybody Knows", for the last scene of their season finale in April, 2010), you have probably heard Holly Figueroa O'Reillyyou just might not have known that she lived right here in Kitsap County.
Holly has released five records in the last ten years, has performed over 900 dates in 48 states, criss-crossing the country from Seattle to Maine to Texas and back, usually home schooling her children on the road in the process, regaling audiences with tales of her travels, and songs ranging from sweet to sultry and everything in between.
Peter's album releases include New Hope and Wise Virgins (2000); Nobody's Daddy (2004); Handsignal (2005); Gathering Light: Christmas Music for Solo Guitar (2006); The Blues Concert (2007); and From the Island (2009). He has been called a "guitar wizard" by Seattle's Victory Music News and "a gifted lyricist with a sharp eye" by the New Jersey Star-Ledger. He tours regularly in the Northeast and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
