6:00 pm Egg Tempera Painting and Painting on Silk - In History and Today!
What do the the arts of 13th-century China, 19th-century France, and modern-day Acton, Massachusetts have in common? How about those of ancient Greece, the Italian Renaissance, and today's Peabody, Massachusetts? Join us to learn about the fascinating histories and contemporary uses of silk and egg tempera painting from local artists with first-hand experience in these media. Doors open at 5:30 for Old South Meeting House Members and 5:45 for the general public.
